Very interesting, beautifully tuned drums, entirely skillful, if not a wee bit didactic. Neil Peart once said that when he's coming up with a drum part in an odd time signature, he doesn't concern himself with identifying the time signature, and doesn't count, he plays entirely by feel. After he gets the drumming sorted, he then analyzes what he's done, after the fact, to see what the time signature is. David Gilmour recently said something similar to young guitarists: "When you play, don't think about scales." I await the YouTube drum instruction video that demonstrates "how" to play in free time. CHEERS.
