The most egregious insult of all for me was the pulmonologist who reprimanded me for watching 'videos on YouTube' and saying that there was no such thing as Long Covid. The video i referenced to him was from the CDC, and another from the National Institute of Health's RECOVER program. I learned from online research that I wasn't alone in this and felt validated when I actually followed the pulmonologist's suggestion. He sent me to my primary doc because he thought I needed a referral to a shrink and just to join a gym because i was overweight and deconditioned. My Primary Dr diagnosed Long Covid and said joining a gym would have been the worst thing I could have done.
