Multiple monitors is definitely something im starting to look at now bezels are getting thinner.
BTW, a pair of 4GB 670's must use a fair bit of juice. it has a 550W recommendation but combined with an OC'd CPU and RAM that's a bit unrealistic. What PSU are you using? i'm in the process of figuring the wattage i'll need for an OC'd 3930k and a pair of 680s/titans. not sure if i should just go all out and go 1500W or lower the ceiling and save $100 bucks by going with a 1000W or 1200W :P

hmm surround...i never felt inspired to invest in it coz I imagined it'd be pretty crippled by the consolification of everything these days (those FOV issues and all that?). My single gtx570 runs Cry3 barely above 30fps at single monitor 1080p, so i'm looking at updating myself, hence why i researched the titan and the 660ti's. i wonder if titans will drop in price after the 700 series comes out...i'll be considering two of them, it's the only way they'd be cost/power efficient.

Thanks for that dude. Yeah, I've been to a sandy-bridge power graphs at the bit-tech website and apparently the i5-2500k (at 4.3ghz on air) chews up around 270 watts. i'm only running 1 GTX570 on an 850W PSU currently.
The 3930K is reported to chew up a holy shit 500W at 4.7ghz, which is about what i want for my OC on water. A 670 SLI setup = about 480W & 2xTitan = 600W...
This is all 'Peak' ratings, though. real world might be less.so at any rate 1200+ seems safest for future shenanigans :P

I was thinking with the gamer mindset. Obviously developers might need this

"The shirt size is Extra large"

You guys know your customer base.

Do you guys have any backplates in stock? I checked and couldn't find any. I'd love to buy a backplate for the Titan Black which is similar to this one.

I wouldn't get two 680s unless you really really want to spend over $1k on graphics alone. I've figured out 2 660ti cards can match a titan (and beat it if you get gigabyte's OC 660ti version) and for over $400 less :P

Damn it you beat me to it

Good observation!

wait so if this has such a lower clock speed and cores than the 690 why is it more powerful?

I must gain a few pounds in order to fit into that Shirt. Card still awesome pretty much titan performance!!

It's smarter do do this as 'one size fits all' sort of concept.

it's actually a lot slower than a 690 or a 7990 in gaming and Unigine benchmarks...only 5-10 fps slower though. for perspective, they're dual-gpu setups and this is just a single card! Remember, the 690 is basically 2 GTX 680s given the human centipede treatment.
690 is mad-scientist, balls-to-the-wall, fuck-the-environment, MAX FPS FTW!
Titan is for low-power, efficient 1-GPU performance.
But if one was to...hm, water cool and OC and SLI this thing...heh, different story =3

Here's the way I look at it. Most people won't throw down 1000 for a graphics card. Yes, I agree it's purely badass. Yes it destroys everything. But really nVidia is fucking with us when it comes to the price.

Honestly I think the only reason someone should buy this is if A.) They can shell out 1000 like nothing. Or B.) Just to say that they have a titan in their system.

Wow, I can't believe we are still facing these prejudices in the 21st century.
I'm a passionate pc player and I do lots of sports. Fuck me, right?

Well I apologize for assuming that not everyone can, or wants to throw down 1000 for a graphics card.
