I watched the first episode of Amazon's LOTR Rings Of Power, I done a short review on this episode, but I had much more to say about the snow troll fight scene that happens early in this episode. The troll is shown killing elves quickly and ruthlessly, and then Galadriel shows up and kills the snow troll with ease, pretty much single handedly. I give you my quick thoughts on this very cringe scene.

Thank you for watching!!

Hey, Seth.
*Subscribed and liked*
Yeah, the scene was definitely a Mary Sue vehicle.
What I didn't like about it other than that... is, it was Hokey .
I mean at first the troll was pretty menacing and badass,
but when she got there, it was like watching her murder a
Teletubbie or a Care Bear. It just became ridiculous.
The dialog in this series is rather 8th grade level as well, so that doesn't really help to draw interest either.
I won't give you any spoilers.
LOL! Don't get me wrong.
I am 60 years old and have been Steeped in Tolkien's written world since 1976.
I could barely stomach the Jackson films because of the changes. The Backgrounds Set Designs and Costumes were Astounding and perfect, But Jackson Messed up the plot and characters pretty sorely.
SO...LOL!
I Am avoiding Death from the aneurysm that I would Surely have if I bothered to watch any whole episode of this Amazon Series.
I am watching the reviews from centrists and hard core fans like myself here on YouTube.
I am Absolutely catching More than enough to understand what is happening... and it isn't good LOL!
However I will say this: After seeing what I have seen of the first 3 episodes, this Amazon Series makes Jackson's films look like a masterpiece of faith to Tolkien's written word!
But then again, this Amazon Series makes
The Original Star Wars,
Look like a masterpiece of faith to TOLKIEN'S written word
🤯 🤯 🤯 🤯 🤯 🤯 🤯
I am really beginning to see the Beauty in Jackson's version compared to the Rather Anti-Tolkien plot, Character and World de-construction that is taking place here.
Payne and Mckay... why did they bother?
At this point, it seems to me that Tolkien Estates sold the rights to Amazon to teach film makers a lesson. I am sure they vetted Amazon's track record like, Wheel of Time and said :
"OK we'll take your money"
"🖐😂 "Good Luck" 🤣👌."
🙄🤦‍♂️
Amazon is now discovering that you can't treat a Classic literary Masterpiece, the same way a baby treats a diaper.
It just doesn't work.
