Please note that once your box has been upgraded, you will not be able to downgrade the interface once the update has been completed.

Finally upgrading because I figured out how to set up plex. but I'd still prefer to use pytivo to push video content onto the tivo.

Don't do it!!!! I wish I had checked here first, you can't go back and right now the new UI is garbage and difficult to navigate, what used to be done in two clicks now takes 4-5. The former UI wasn't great but it was pretty consistent with an evolution from the original tivo experience. This is a drastic departure and while I"m sure the bugs will be fixed I'm not sure how they will make the ui usable again or if we are just stuck with this.

Thank you for the interesting video. I am hoping you can answer a situational question for me. First I love and owned several older Tivo devices. Our community HOA has a new contract with Comcast who has implemented a new service set-up which has eliminated the cable card. The streaming service has only one stream at 720p which seems backwards to me. My question is do you know how or if I there is a TIVo solution to still get LIVE cable news ( I like CNBC and CNN ) AND record one while watching the other AND get HDTV? We can not cut the cord per se as it is part of our community, but we also don't have choice of cable company. Thank you!

Is there away I can down grade or go back to the original Tivo Bolt menu....I really don't care for the new look and functions at all !!

I don’t understand all this complaining. I like it much better than the previous experience. I recently purchased a smart tv and this experience version is very similar. It’s the future.

I upgraded and it's much less user friendly. The voice remote is bad too (I say a show name that is on and it won't even turn to it) so not even worth it for that. Going back to my original menus and losing my recordings

Can we still transfer life time subscriptions ? Would love to upgrade my TiVo HD but not if I have to go to a subscription when I have two lifetime subscriptions

Can you prevent the update from happening? I still have the old UI working on a Roamio Plus. I don't want the new one.

Dear software development geniuses: There is NO indication after downloading that you have to manually reboot or wait until evening. All it says is “pending reboot” which the user might assume will happen hen they press Select.

My Tivo remote doesn't have the blue button. I suppose I should be thankful. How about fixing the Hulu aspect ratio bug instead of wasting time on this?

Dear Tivo, BRING BACK THE THUMBS RATINGS!!!
My tivo suggestions are always garbage because my tivo doesn't know what I like because I can't give my favorite shows a thumbs up any more

How can I change the firmware of my Tivo 8685 to change the cable signal input to normal antenna to watch TV?

Tivo will not work with my TV. I keep getting a hdmi not allowed.

My remote was great until I got a tv insignia. Tech told me I have to use the tv remote to mute since it won’t pair properly! Oh fun, more glitches in TiVo which it feels like the techs know less than I do about it?
