Im coming from the PS4 version of GT7, not PS4 Pro the normal PS4. Now ive got a new PS5, and GT7 looks the same on PS5, ive noticed a little better frame timing, the ps4 version is really smooth with 60fps at 2k. But at the ps5 version there are no laggs. other then that, expect the loading times no big difference. Its crazy that they have managed it to run on ps4 perfectly.

To me the upgrade is worth it with vr in framerate priority mode. Less flickering, less strain on my eyes. And so I’m getting less tired from racing 2-3 h with the headset on. I only race in vr. Also wheel and pedals seem a little more responsive. Regarding resolution I see very little improvement. Hope the patch will improve vr but to be honest I suspect PD might skip that. As they haven’t done anything for vr in GT7 since vr-launch.

Removing the disc drive was a big mistake. There are plenty of people who can afford, but nobody wants something taken away. Sony got it wrong.

I feel like a lot of the differences may be a placebo. There’s really nothing in it and there shouldnt be until the update. The frame rates could defo be higher and the loading times ofc

The packaging isn't exactly premium, barely any effort went into that. And not having a disc tray by default is unforgivable.

After taxes, it cost $762.11 here in the states. I'd rather save a bit more and get a gaming PC. You'd save a lot more in the long run as well, without having to pay $80 a year for PS+.

Brother scrolling through the car select is the exact same speed. The Pro has a bigger SSD not fast and the CPU barely clocks 200 mhx higher.
