Dear Heavenly Father, as I lay my head down to sleep tonight please watch over me and and my family. Lord, relax the tension of my body; calm the restlessness of my mind; still the thoughts which worry and perplex me. Let me rest peaceful in your mighty arms and wake up refreshed to face another day. Lord, teach me to daily lay my burdens at your feet. Show me that I can trust in your loving care. Help me to focus on you and not worry about tomorrow. Fill my heart with your joy and peace. Thank You for your unfailing love, your blessings, and goodness. Grant me, the nourishing blessing of rest and peaceful sleep.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13)

To you Father, I give all the praise, honor and glory. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
