My baby girl had the exact same symptoms. They realised it was stage 4 non small cell carcinoma. She had chemo and immunotherapy. It worked really well and shrunk the main tumours. Sadly the immunotherapy attacked her kidneys and from there her body and brain. My sweetheart lasted six months I just want people to get these symptoms caught early and having a good oncologist. My dad's lung cancer was discovered when he had pain in his arm, and he pushed to get up from a chair, and his arm snapped. Once the dr saw the x-ray, he told dad he needed a chest x-ray. That lead to his lung cancer diagnosis, with lung g cancer spreading to his bones. Because of his age, he refused treatment but it was inoperable anyway.

I wish insurance would cover preventative full body scans. This is scary as heck. Who thinks lung cancer in your elbow or neck????

Thank you so much for this story. My dad was diagnosed this week with stage 4 lung cancer and this gives me hope. He's never smoked or drank and is a vegetarian and has always been very health concious so this has come as a shock to everyone.
