A lot of people are finding that everything they are finding isnt working for them, I had the same issue too. BUT I did find a simple fix but i’m not sure some people would wanna lose everything. All i did was reset and reinstall windows. As soon as windows was downloaded again there was no input delay whatsoever.

just want to warn you guys about updating the keyboard drivers, if its already updated leave it alone. you will run the risk of the driver just deleting itself and you'll have to reinstall the driver again. if what he said doesn't work make sure you don't have any background apps running like afterburner, xbox just whatever generally puts an extra load on your pc, for me it was afterburner SEE REPLIES IF YOU TRIED THE FIRST METHOD AND IT DID THIS

so my problem is just randomly while i play, it will start taking about half a second for my inputs to happen, and then they will last for like 3 seconds after i stop pressing them. do yall know if this would help or f its just something else. (btw i know it isnt my keyboard because ive tried other keyboards

so basically I have a new keyboard, just bought it and I do gmod type stuff except, my PC has been delaying a lot, multiplayer servers, singleplayer whatever you can think of. And it delays even more when I open video recording programs, example: OBS.

and this problem is only unique to gmod, and it seems im the only one with it. I also did try uninstalling addons which didn't work. Sorry if this is a lot to read but maybe you'd have an idea?

Thanks man, the 50ms delay i had on my keyboard was reduced to 1ms

what i found out is that : this delay thing is a virus impeded to your system, some how you get it through external sources, i got mine from a fknig coowerker through a usb device
i was dumb enough to put that usb into my own pc, now im stuck with this virus unless i reinstall a new windows ....

yo guys if ur keyboard doesnt type anymore from the first method just restart ur pc, i had the same problem but now fixed just restart ur pc. hope this helps

I was having keyboard lag while playing genshin impact and I had tried everything nothing worked now only thing that worked for me was that I had MSI afterburner running for FPS and CPU temp monitoring and when I closed that app while playing genshin my keyboard lag problem fixed, whenever I let MSI afterburner run in background my keyboard lags in genshin, this is not a problem while I play GTA 5, only with genshin, you can try exiting some software and then see if it fixes your keyboard lag
