Insurance is one evil I don't like to think about. I was even a life insurance agent for a short time .
I feel it is such a waste of money but needed in this greedy world .
Knock on wood I haven't had any healrh insurance in over 10 years and I do many extreme sports. Yeah I've been lucky and never had any hospital visits
But... Here in the Philippines I need to find something as like you said I'll die on the front door of the hospital if I don't have any insurance. There are stories here of locals dying at the door because they didn't have money to pay.

A little late watching this video. I lose my ACA plan when I turn 65 next year which gives me emergency international coverage while staying in the Philippines. I also have Philheath to get me in the door. I was wondering since you said you were over 65 if you turned down your part B on your Medicare back in the states and going only with Insurance here in the Philippines?
