A perfect day hike in Arkansas just off of the Buffalo. We stopped for a quick half mile hike to Twin Falls, then drove over to Kyles Landing to start our hike on the Buffalo River Trail, which connects to Indian Creek. A primitive trail leads you up Indian Creek and eventually to a section of climbing that takes you high into the bluffs, through a cave, and over boulders to the Eye of the Needle, a huge bluff wall that has eroded through the middle by the head waters of Indian Creek. Normally dry in the summer, we lucked out with a week full of rain leading up to the hike.
