Every time I do this the rock is already gone and there is no gold. 3 different playthroughs and not once has it worked. I’ve made sure to open and read the map, traveled away from the area and hoping it would spawn, and I’ve loaded the previous save to retrieve the map again and still haven’t been able to get the gold. I don’t really need it but I love to collect stuff like that.

When I found the map it never showed up under treasure maps 🤷. Was still able to loot the treasure though.
