How to get UNLIMITED GOLD BARS in Red Dead Redemption 2 that can be sold to a Fence for quick and easy money! $15,000 in 5 minutes!

Text Tutorial:
1. Find Gold bar at Limpany (as shown on video)
2. Turn off auto save
3. Go To Sheriff office open lockbox and dont pickup the gold.
4. Save the game (before picking up the gold)
6. then go back to load MENU - and load the latest save.
7. Once loaded head to Limpany Again.
8. You should have previous gold and the gold in box will be there.
9. Close Lockbox, open it again and now keep collecting gold for ever no save required after this

The method shown in the video doesn't work. The correct method is:
- Open the box
- Save in front of the box without pick anything
- Load the game
- You will notice that the horse poison is gone
- Get the infinite gold

MrBossFTW has the steps written wrong in the description. After picking up the gold bar the gold bar icon will show up on the right hand side. When the icon shows pause the game and DO NOT SAVE! Just load the latest save. Hope that helps.

I found a way to do this faster. Upgrade your camp to get fast travel, once you've done the glitch and got the gold bars, go to your camp and fast travel to Emerald Ranch, once there sell your gold bars and take the train to Valentine, ride back to Limpany and just raise and repeat. It saved me time riding the horse back and forth. Fast travel from camp is free but train is like $2 and some change. Hope this helps people

Be sure to open the box fully looking at the gold bar and do not pick up the gold bar before saving. I just did this a minute ago and it worked.

Turn off autosave and make a custom save.
Open the box for the first time.
DO NOT take the pamphlet.
Highlight the gold and grab it
AS SOON AS HIS HAND IS IN THE BOX, TOUCHING THE GOLD, SAVE THEN LOAD THAT SAVE.
DO NOT wait for the gold icon on the right.
Ride back to the box and it should work. If it only gives you two bars, try closing the box and opening again.
If you're going to do it multiple times, remember to repeat the saving and loading process WHEN HIS HAND IS IN THE BOX.

FIXED ISSUE: Only getting 2 bars?
-The reason for this is because the pamphlet isn't there. It turns out that the pamphlet is what allows the glitch to work.

-If it's not in the box when you first open it, it's because you probably read the recipe elsewhere before opening the box.

-The ONLY way around this is to either load a save previous to you finding that pamphlet (horse stimulant recipe) OR you'd have to start over.

God damn that was fun!lol I just got the 30 bars and was going to Riggs station to take the train to St Denis to go to the fence and had a bunch of bandits said "get the gold! Take him for everything he's got!"lol They tried... haha

After I picked up the 30 Gold Bars my console said, "thank you, Mr Ethan Hunt" and started counting down...It then exploded and caught my TV on fire too...As it was exploding into fiery flame balls, my room started to catch fire as well and then my whole house burned to the ground...The best part is that I at least got 30 bars for the game!!!...Not sure how I would've lived my life without these bars...Thanks RD2 for ruining my life!!!!
