How to batch delete all pauses using text-based editing in Adobe Premiere Pro

In my editing array the filter icon only appears under the graphics tab and I am unable to make it work with the text document, any suggestions? Is there a hot key I could use instead?

The delete button is grayed out when I transcribe and select pauses.

Delete Button is greyed out always for me. Any idea on why can this be happening? I have set the audios as dialogue, made all the transcription, and I can see all the pauses, but the buttons Replace or Delete are all Greyout.

This is great but it wants to transcribe the entire video and sometimes I have a 2-3 hour podcast. I want to be able to clip it out and just transcribe a section and then remove the pauses. I can transcribe just the in and out but if I do that then I can't remove the pauses it's always greyed out.
