How to Connect PS4 & PS5 Controller Wireless to PC to Play Fortnite (Best Tutorial)

Do you want to know how to connect your PS4 or PS5 controller to PC windows 10 or windows 11 to Play fortnite, Warzone, Rocket league etc. You can connect your controller to PC via bluetooth and then use the program called steam to play wireless. Just add the game as a non steam game and then launch the game into big picture mode. The steam overlay should take effect and your controller should now work.

Well, it does work with other games on Steam (tested with Subnautica) and you can navigate through the big picture mode. Everything seems to be fine until you start Fortnite. Unfortunately Fortnite still doesn't work with a PS5 controller at all.

When i connect my controller to pc it apparently connects but the pc doesn't respond to me moving the controller and steam doesn't detect it. So its connected but it isn't connected

Unfortunately it doesn't work anymore. It throws and error saying you have to launch the game in Epic Games.

So big picture isn't working to get my controller do anything. I can launch from big picture but it's not letting me do anything on screen or in the game. really confused

Thank you so much I couldn't get this to work for anything and my son doesn't like using the Xbox one controller. I don't understand why Ps4 controller integration is so hard for Windows since Ps3 works perfectly.

I'm a bit confused, when I click play in steam, it just opens epic games launcher and makes me manually open fortnite. Any help with that?

Do you think that you could troubleshoot because on mine I can only use the R2 and L2 buttons on the controller and I can only move the curser around with the joystick someone please help

You missed a step. Mine did not work initially too. This is what I found. Mine did not work either but I found the problem. You have to go to steam main playstation configuration support. My controller immediately lite up blue.
