Choosing the Perfect Paint: Sherwin-Williams’ Duration, Emerald Urethane, & Eminence Explained

When it comes to choosing the perfect paint product for your home, there are a few things to keep in mind.

First, it’s important to consider the type of paint you want to use for the walls. This can be determined by the type of surface you’re painting, as well as the budget you have. For this project the home owner chose Duration by Sherwin Williams for its durability and wash ability.

Next, it’s important to consider the trim. This is the last of the home that will receive the most abuse and collect the most dirt, and it’s important to choose the right paint to match the style of the home. We used Emerald Urethane, here which is our go to product for trim and doors.

Finally, it’s important to consider the ceiling. This is the part of the home that will be seen from a great distance, and it’s important to choose the right paint to match the style of the home. We chose Eminence for its high hide coverage and flat finish.

Emerald Urethane is IMPOSSIBLE to brush. It dries in 20 seconds. It’s like painting with peanut butter. Great to spray though
