Huge thanks to Mikey Stevenson for the drone and 3rd person shots and John Gibson for the still shots. They really helped us add some new perspectives to these videos.

Don't sweat the tech stuff, we'll watch anything. We're just happy to be along for the ride. 😀

I find Syd worried that nobody would watch almost funny.
We would literally watch you guys renovate a kitchen, why would we not watch a race day with some clips missing?

You know what I love about you guys, your not afraid to show the good, bad and ugly! Those reactions make you both more relatable and that's what keeps your audience coming back. Stay more awesome!

That is unfortunate about not filming the whole race but that is only part of the reason your posts are so good. What really makes your videos so good is your positivity and humor. Your videos always brighten my day.

Mountain bike life, remember. Life. The Ups and the downs. This is why I watch and love your videos. Real life.

We’ve all had the dreaded GoPro error message and it’s always at the worst time, as they say S**t happens don’t sweat it we all enjoy your content and it’s amazing. You two ride like the wind while talking to the camera flying down a mountain, AMAZING. Keep up the awesome content and sharing your adventures, loved that you stopped and found a nice place to play on your trek north too those stops are what makes the adventures even more memorable.

So sad to see technology flunked out on you guys, but hey! It happens!
You still managed to tell the story of the race very well, it was enjoyable and fun to watch, and we're all definitely looking forward to the adventure of day 2. Thank you for sharing "all of them".

I got my Shokz because of you guys. Absolutely freaking love them for cycling and running. Great to hear music AND the surrounding environment for safety.

My favorite part of your videos is the parts between the riding, don’t stress over missed footage. Most of us are here because we enjoy you guys not just riding footage

You can only control your thoughts and actions. Maybe those actions help influence outcomes, maybe not. It's out of your control. You do the best you can, and if Carter gets seven minutes on you, or tech doesn't function optimally, it's out of your control.

After all, the goal of the YouTube channel is to support the biking, right? Sounds like you got to do the mountain biking. So, success!

Thanks for letting me live vicariously through you while sitting at my desk staring at code.

Sometimes you just have to do the best you can with the cards you're dealt. The important part is learning what you can, not quitting and still moving forward. Sid you said you don't know if anybody is gonna watch this. Let me tell you that you two have fans and we all enjoy watching any videos you post. Good luck in stage two. Go get em!! 👍

Hang in there guys! Your videos mean so much more than then stage view but rather how you handle the stress of the technical glitches and how you rationalize the positive and negatives for each stage. Love how you both download the key lessons learned and support one another on the challenges faced!

Virtual hugs to you both. And since yours are the videos I can’t wait to watch, I have decided to leave my other Patreon creators and switch to you! Cheers!

Love you guys. No biggy if you can’t film the entire race! As long as I get to hear Syd huffin and puffin, I’m golden! I’m a serious huffer and puffer, so always feel a kinship when I hear another heavy breathing sistuh!

We don't need race footage to know how talented, tough, and dedicated Syd is.

No cameras, no worries, just come on and describe what happened during the stage and we'd all still be happy. You're both so generous sharing your experiences, we're not going to stop watching because of the odd technical glitch here and there... we're here to support you, not criticise you! 💪💯🚴❤️

I love channels like yours, that give an authentic peek behind the curtain - I prefer that to the “curated excellence” where you only see the good stuff!

You guys realize that we would watch a stick drawing of you guys going thru the race and with your commentary we would love every minute of it, right??? We don't watch just to see you guys race some trails, we watch because we love hearing you talk about the race and all your comments during the race and just seeing you guys live life. Never be upset because the camera doesn't work.

With so little GoPro footage, you created a fantastic video. Really looking forward to the next ones 😃
