I’m moroccan from souss and I remember my grandpa used to tell me stories about the war with ibrtqiz meaning Portuguese in amazigh
I also found a Portuguese coin in some of the jewelry my grandma inherited

The biggest mistake Portugal ever did, an experienced king and bad advice from people with second intentions . He could had grown to be a great king if he would be more wise than battle hungry .
