Universal SOVIET Build Order & Guide [1v1] - CoH2

A universal build order for 1v1 Soviets; can be paired with practically any commander and is effective against any Axis faction.

Very good for starting players.

Pro Tip : Merge Conscripts into your flamer engineer to maximize it's on field time and damage.
Also, you can delay your 2nd sweeper engi until after the 3rd or 4th Conscript, you only want the sweeper when the T70 is about to come out, this timing also allows the engi to begin construction of T2 as soon as it comes out, rather than having to force retreat an engi squad from the field to do this.

13-19 minutes is a bit late for a T-34/76. 11-12 minutes is more like it.
13-19 minutes is timing for T-34/85 or M4C.
If you do not see a Pz IV after your T-34/76 or medium comes out, or around 15 minutes, immediately queue an SU-85 because it's extremely likely he's going for a Panther, which can ruin your vehicles if you let it run around uncontested. Otherwise, if you have 2x fuel control you might want to consider a Katyusha to counter team weapon spam.

For a t70, you can start 4 cons + guards now that t3 is cheaper. 3 cons for quad m5. Great vid!! Also I believe it is super important to consider if you are up against ost or okw to choose when you get your zis or guards, since ost's 222 comes at 5min, okw's flak or Luchs a 6-7min, but then ost's p4 not until 13-14min

This is really great video. This build order is totally new to me, I am gonna try it. I usually depend mostly on the tier 1 units of the sniper camp, with penals and snipers, so going into battle without them already seems weird to me.
You could make a video about mines, explaining how and when to place them.

T-70 is the best light tank. Shoots fast and has good splash damage against infantry unlike Stuart or Scout Car. The only advantage Stuart and Scout Car have is a little bit more damage against vehicles and their abilities which in Stuart's case even harder to utilize. When I play I don't really need anti tank capability for my light tanks. I need to wipe infantry and T-70 does the best

Why build the second engie so early? I feel like you get a lot more bang for your buck if you go for the conscripts earlier and then buy the grenade package after.

This lets your conscripts contest light vehicle aggression since they'll be able to snare them faster

Edit: I guess it does let you lay mines while still having your conscript on the front. That makes sense.

Hey new player here! Well these videos help a lot but I’m still lost I’m multiplayer matches, sometimes I loose way to much ground because the enemy overrun my infantry with a shit ton of his infantry, this mostly happens at team games, but I guess I should play just 1vs1 or 2vs2, seems more manageable

Returning player here, big thanks for the tips. I also have a question. Do guard rifle intel bulletins work on assault guard and airborne guard? Back in the day I played coh2(about 2-3years ago, I guess) I didnt remember these 2 units exist.

Great video. I am struggling as a new player only 30 hours and 11 pvp games ( most other are vs friends or bots ) . I even beat players with 200+ hours on the early game but as soon as 15th minute or smth hits ( Im about 350 vps to their 100vps ) I just get DESTROYED by enemy infantry and german tanks. No matter what I do early on I get ruined late game. Any tips ?
