Well he is making it because he is going at his angles and speed. You guys make everyone slow down and go at your approach. Let the driver do his thing

SO CLOSE. Letting off the gas as he came up killed the momentum.
If he stayed on the gas I think it may have made it.

Great Jeep. And the owner had the skills expected. Good job fella. Nothing to be ashamed of there.

This Jeep has a proper exhaust note. It makes me think of the old CJ5s of the ’70s when V8s were everywhere around Colorado.

The exhaust rumble from that 392 V8 is glorious. It makes me want to snatch up a 392 before Jeep stops production.

He is 100% a novice off-road. Love to see people get into it. With that beast of a rig he can do so much

Need to bring it to Windrock in Tennessee. It will prove just how wonderful the 392 is at rock crawling.
I have seen 38's put on the 392, but I believe that was an extreme Recon 393

On the subject of V8s and how jeep put the 392 on the Wrangler, I wish they would offer a smaller V8. Bigger isn't always better. I used to have a Silverado with a 4.8L V8. Great exhaust note, had enough power (285), and was pretty torque-y (over 300 ft lb) with decent fuel economy (got 20 mpg in a short wheelbase V8 Silverado). I wish there was something similar available for the jeep, for the sake of cost. I'd pay an extra $5k to have one as an option in a sport or Willys. But I'm not about to pay $20k extra over a similarly equipped Rubicon just for a V8.

So the big bad V8 Jeep 392 stuck just like Tommy's Willys Sport, Tommy said he could keep up with a Rubicon and would love to see an old Jeep Cherokee and a Blazer S10, ZR2, and K5 on the course, cool Jeep.

Too used to Rock climbing and not used to Mudding! That's all. No harm no foul. Everyone is having fun and we benefit from the good content! 👍

This heavy, oversized 4 dr bus met its match. Love how the nimble '05 TJ Rubicon did this trail like a champ with just a modest 2" lift and 33" mud terrains. By far, my favorite tumbleweed segment!

He scooped a whole heap of ranch on his bumper. Imagine if he’d hit that at speed like so many of you are suggesting. I’m sure he’s disappointed he didn’t make the obstacle but he’d be pissed if he smashed his bumper. I’ve been to enough mud parks where Jeeps are being flat towed back home because their thoughts were “just give it more skinny pedal “

More gas and actual mud terrains would have made a huge difference. Momentum the whole time. They slowed him down too much. Pretty sure back and forth would have worked when he got “stuck”. I’ve put my 392 on 37s with 4.88 through worse!

I wanna see the bronco raptor try this course

Why drop both tires in at the same time. More angle entering Tommys Demise and more skinny pedal and it would of popped right out. Try to only put one wheel at a time into a rut like that. Very cool Jeep and the exhaust sounds great.
