after driving real cars i was not interested in racing games but GT always makes me want to play them

Edit: after reading comments about I am not driving cars or middle schooler bragging...
I am 27 and I still love cars, I am not street racing or anything. I own 2016 seat toledo stock. My love for cars went from video games to watch youtube car reviews, test drives ...etc.
Why did I stop playing racing games after I started to drive (my first car was opel astra 2006 used got it in 2013)?
Mostly because I waited all my childhood dreaming of driving cars and I am telling what really happened to me.
Still GT is the only game I would play, it has special place in my heart specially the race initial count down sound... I used to play GT since GT1.

The replays in GT have always been spot on. Very few games nowadays can compare. Not only graphics but pan and zoom movements, fixed camera locations... its superb

I was thinking about getting into IRacing and hardcore sim racing but watching this brought back so many memories of playing the first 4 GT’s. The music, the tracks, the cars, etc. Once I get a PS5 I’m getting this one.

Ray tracing is only available for in-game cutscenes or replays, not during the race itself, and is limited to 30 FPS. In performance mode, the replay runs at 60 FPS on PS5.

They nailed the graphics, it is a beautiful game to look at. But what inmerses me more is the sounds. The sound of the rain hitting the car, the rythmic thump of the wipper blades, the rumble of the tires rolling across the tarmac, even the sound of the debris on the track hitting the wheel wells. This is what a racing sim should be and more

You can straight up see the weight of the car get unbalanced when you brake too hard from a fast straight leading to a corner, wow! I love seeing it break loose reminding you it's not to be treated as an arcade racer where you can just slide at every turn

I ordered it and I'm waiting for it to arrive TOMORROW!

Ray tracing only available in Replay mode, but in gameplay the reflection has amazing cubemap quality, very convincing too.

It’s too bad it took so long for Porsche to be part of the GT series, they should’ve been there sooner. Having said that, their being in the current series is why I want the Game ❤️
