Feeding Dubia to my chickens

Cleaned out my Dubia roach colonies today and decided to try and feed the "leftover" Dubia hiding in the remains of 6 bins to my chickens. I only have 6 girls to a single rooster in this "pen" so they are suffering from his attentions. I have looked for mites and lice many times and don't see any. I am raising up 14 more hens to take the pressure off my 6 adults, but as they are only 10 weeks old at this point, they aren't together yet. have you tried using a piece of bread to draw the cockroaches out?
