Join us as we snag breakfast in the dining room, then head ashore for a scenic and relaxing cruise through the canals of the city... then it's time to get back onboard AmaCerto as we sail toward Utrecht while enjoying lunch in the dining room... then we return to our cabin to find some surprise gifts from AmaWaterways!! :D

That is one of the reasons I love to travel vicariously through you. The Dutch created the rijstafel as a way for colonists to sample the many different spice-filled dishes from different regions of Indonesia.

Rijstafel is a parade of small plates, all accompanied by rice. The main and side dishes are put on the table at the same time, and everyone can create their own menu. The dishes can be spicy, sticky, and sweet. good!

Jay - I can’t believe you went all the way to Amsterdam and they didn’t give you bagels on the canal ride… you know, to go with all the LOCKS! 😂😂🤪
