UK Prime Minister Liz Truss has announced Jeremy Hunt as the new Chancellor of the Exchequer after sacking Kwasi Kwarteng.

In a press conference, she also announced a U-turn on corporation tax in order to "reassure the markets of our fiscal discipline".

He was supposed to be on his way to an IMF meeting, they made him UTURn the jet back to London. Pretty savage because they most likely had this planned and could have saved the wasted jet fuel . But instead they made sure to call him back only after he had already taken off on his plane trip to the US.
