Mary's not God, but she's super important.

In “Catholic Central: Mary,” Kai and Libby look at the Jewish girl who said “Fiat!” (Latin for “Let It be done”), became Jesus’ mother and His first disciple, and, per Christ’s edict from the Cross, mother to us all. We learn that she’s venerated, not worshiped; asked to pray for us; and makes occasional appearances to the faithful to achieve her one mission: bringing people closer to her Son.

From Family Theater Productions in Hollywood.

What does the wedding at Cana show us about Mary? Do Catholics worship Mary?

I’ve just stumbled on your channel while doing some research for a personal art project- and I can’t stop watching you videos. You really bring the old teachings into the modern way of thinking, and it is turning my life around.

I just want to express gratitude for your hard work. I fell away from the Church and have been struggling with conflicting beliefs. And every time I go back to mass all I can see/hear is some man on a high horse telling me I’m wrong about everything but I never understand WHY.

You guys present His truth in such charismatic and relatable ways- I’m finally understanding now. You have seriously shaken me awake, I realize what a sinful life I’m leading.

I still have questions and I still feel betrayed and hurt by certain experiences I’ve had with clergy- but your videos help me to remember why I have such strong faith in the first place.

You’re motivating me to go back to Church and receive the sacrament of reconciliation- you’re really helping me, just by being honest and kind with your method of teaching. I truly am grateful. And I will remember anyone involved in the production of this channel in my prayers tonight.

I’m so happy I’ve been led here. Thank you. ❤️

Mary was the Ark ( her womb) of the New Covenant ( Jesus)😊😊😊😊😊🥰🙏✝️💒👍Catholics call her Blessed as scripture and Tradition teaches us to do. Our Blessed Mother Mary pray for 🙏🙏🙏🙏 we venerate Mary not worship Mary.

Hi, I'm considering joining a catholic church that did a lot for me. However, I'm concerned about some of the beliefs regarding Mary. For example, why does the catholic church say that Mary ascended to heaven? I remember reading a verse (in Mark I believe) where Jesus says that only he who descended from heavan has ascended to heavan. Furthermore, why does the church say that Mary died a virgin? Isn't it said in the scripture that Jesus had siblings? Surely those siblings were not born of the holy spirit as well? Lastly, why is Mary referred to as Mother of God? While I understand that technically, the baby she would have been carrying in her womb would have been god, why is it appropriate to refer to her that way when Jesus specifies that he who believes the word of God is his mother and brothers? It seems that Jesus is denying Mary's spiritual significance in that sense, implying that, spiritually, she is no different than any other believer in god.

I would appreciate a word on these issues because I'm currently struggling with deciding whether or not to join this Catholic church that had a significant spiritual impact on me. I can't deny that the prayers of the people in that church did for me, but I have the above problems as well as skepticism about things like the rosary (doesn't Jesus say to not say long and repetitive prayers as the pharisees do?)

Thank you guys for your videos! They have been very informative thus far

The Muslims interpreted Mary’s role for humanity correctly: the modest, the motherly and the pious.
