Thanks for the tutorial but to be totally honest, I don't see a significant difference with/without the mod and it seems like a hassle to go through all my CC to find what's compatible and what's not. I think I'll pass on this one lol

What are the settings meant to be in game? If i change my sim quality to very high, i get black sims, if i change sim quality to high or lower, then the sim appears fine? Yes i am using an HQ skin, but even the base game files are black if i change the quality to very high, what am i missing?

I just looked up this video and saw how complex everything was and i was like allow this i'm sticking with my mediocre sims

I have a question, whenever I’m done with the HQ mod, do I just copy and paste the original BIN folder in my sims program files then take the mod out.and if I wanna put the mod back in game I just repeat the first steps, I’m only using the mod for pictures that’s it.

Can I convert CC that isn't HQ compatible into HQ compatible CC? or am I only able to download CC that the creator says is HQ compatible? So I can't download any CC I want? I have to download specific CC? I hope this made sense, can someone please answer?

This tut was very helpful. However my sims are black even with no mods in game and all of the packages that we had to download. Seems that no one has a fix for this so I think I'll just let it go. No cc = Black Sims With CC = Black IS there any pc settings etc that goes beyond hq compatibility?
