Saltwater Etching (how to do it yourself)

1) power source {car battery charger or 9 volt battery}
2) Q-tips
3) stencils {mine was $3 from amazon }
4) electrical tape
5) salt water
All in all took me approx 10-15 min max to finish. go longer to get deeper results.

A 12v, 2amp power supply is generally considered the best for controllability. You will see many many knife makers say exactly the same thing, 10 amps is absolutely NOT necessary.

best bitumen diluted a bit in gasoline, paint over, dry and scratch the pattern, letters, it is possible under a microscope, and etch ....
