Big thank you to Cash Converters Gloucester for giving me a partial refund for the record player. The original cost was £15 and they refunded me £8 which i did not ask for but was given out of courtesy which covered nearly all the parts that i bought.

Great video, Lee. I am having a problem with the motor on my early 70s Elac Miracord 10H turntable. In the past year or so it started to run at uneven speeds and began slurring the records (in all speeds). I had my home current checked, and that is correct. The drive wheel is still in good shape, so I suspect the motor is the problem. Would I be able to replace capacitors or diodes on this motor?
