And that is just from one investigation in one state.

When our non profit asks for govt funding, we jump through hoops to prove the money goes where we say it goes. And when we receive the money, it goes into a restricted fund until needed. Then we get audited year end.
If the allegations are true, these folks weren't even trying to hide their greed. And shame on whoever didn't do their due diligence when awarding the money.

This is very common at the state level.

Companies and corprations getting billions while schools and hospitals got nothing.

This is precisely why I never give to charity. Instead, I open my eyes to people’s struggles who are a part of my life, and I take my cash, and I put it in their hands with no expectation to ever see it again. 100% of my “donation” goes to “charity”.

what amazes me is they never asked to see any receipts showing they bought ingredients to feed these kids before just handing them a 250 million dollar check sounds to me like this goes really high up the ladder

I only donate to the Clinton Foundation, they did such a great job in Haiti.

Why is anyone surpirsed?
When the pandemic hit, and government decided to help people, companies immediately wanted to be treated as people again, so they could literally intercept the money being given out to help, the company I worked at admitted as much during a meeting, months before laying everyone off during the start of the pandemic.
They were real proud too of intercepting millions in aid so they could fire people and pocket government aid, not create jobs, raise wages, or keep people at work... No, they did this...and now we're just going to blame 47 people when there's clearly more money out there stolen.

This story should tell us how government bureaucrats could have possibly given these thieves $250 million. That’s a lot of bread.
