Want To Get Better At Slide?

Good evening!! Man, it's late. I'm just goofing around with a slide on my goldtop. I've received a few questions on the channel I wanted to address in video form rather than trying to write a novel in the comments. This may become a regular thing. Keep those questions coming!

You're so patient, I'd start having to just have a good old wail to relieve the stress, then come back down and focus.

YT put your channel in my feed earlier today and have been able to watch a few - really enjoy your style and focus. I hope you’re seeing more hits on your videos. Subscribed!

I would use the slide lick because it has a beginning, a middle and an end. Something I believe almost all solos should have.

I love the sound of wah paired with a flanger.

Hi Justin, thanks for answering my question! You are absolutely right, i probably need to practice more on a clean amp instead of covering up my mistakes by effects! 🤣 Gonna check out the slide Player/Band you mentioned to get some inspiration. 👍🏻
Man, it would be great if you could visit Germany, but in these crazy times it would be the last country i would recomment to anyone to go for holidays. Looks like europe is going south at the moment... hoping for better times!
I love this Q&A format. Thanks again! Cheers, Matt

The differences between Nashville and L.A. studio work would be fascinating I think. From sheet music sight reading to procedural differences. Anything you could think of I think could be a cool video on its own.
Your job, the once semi secret life of Jimmy Page, has been my dream job since i was a kid, btw. I've recorded many a track on tape from reel to reel and cassette in 70s to fat tapes in 80s and more recently on Pro Tools. I'm lucky to get called in to a studio once every couple years nowadays, but i mess around at home with the AMAZING stuff you can do, at home, ON A LAPTOP! LOL It is so much fun for me to live vicariously through you by watching your videos. Thanks for making them

Hi Justin, love your playing and learning so much from every single your videos. Random question for ya, is your 54 vintage or custom shop? I’m thinking of getting 54 custom shop and I never had a p90 in my life so it’ll be nice to receive some expert advice from you. Greatly appreciated in advance.

Hey man what slide are you using?
i'm using the dunlop 213 and i like the tone of it but it's really big for my fingers
yours looks exactly the right size for me.
thanks!
