Borderlands 3's messy ending

Borderlands 3 ended in a particularly confusing way. At launch a lot of people weren't sure what it meant and I still see a lot of people today get it wrong. It was pretty unclear.

Giving Ava leadership made the least amount of sense out of anything in the whole game

Its really the bastardization of all the characters like lilith in 2 was cocky but bearable but this game makes me glad rolands dead so they cant turn him into an annoying mess, n its frustrating becuz sometimes charaters are written well like they almost knew what they were doing, but that shit is literally hidden in echos or the eridian shit which u dont get access too till the ass end of the game and its jus so many little things that add up

The fact that they made tannis such ashithead in the later half of the game made me not enjoy the game so much more. After mayas death she became so annoying.

I liked Ava, she would’ve made a great side character or a leader in training. But Ellie should’ve 100% been appointed as leader

Having Lilith die instead of maya would have been much better. Lilith has been in every single game and is an overused asset. Maya is a much better siren. Better voice actor and much better siren abilities. And yes I know if maya never died, the great vault would never have been opened and therefore borderlands 3 would have never happened, but that too would have been much better in and of itself. Not to mention Ava is just an all around horrible character to introduce into the game to begin with. Literally worthless in every aspect. The borderlands universe would have been so much better had she never been brought into it.
