SpaceX is launching its Falcon Heavy rocket for the first time in more than three years.

There have been repeated delays due to issues with the payload, which in this case includes a microsatellite dubbed TETRA-1 which has been created for "various prototype missions".

I mean honestly, this is absolutely remarkable. I feel like it just becomes more normal, but THAT should never become normalized. Truly incredible engineering and technology. Man created that. Imagine what else we can do together.

Just incredible, and SO stirring - I was a kindergartener for Apollo 7 and followed NASA ever since. Was BLOWN AWAY when SpaceX first suggested the unthinkable - reusable first stage ROCKETS - I was skeptical, but to SEE it in 2015 was amazing. NOW it is "the norm" (151 times) to see these boosters land in Florida flawlessly. I PRAY that I live long enough to see Starship/Starship Heavy launches... perhaps even the first trip to Mars. I'll put a few bucks down that SpaceX beats the other contractors on every project.

I never get tired of seeing this great engineering at work. That SpaceX team is so on it with laser focus! Imagine what will be in just 6 months from now. Just insane that a new company figured out how to not just cost less, but demonstrate true reusability with a plan for recovery and pinpoint landing! Proud to see these minds at work.
