Couldn’t agree more about FBN. Paid for 3 totes generic Paraguat last November, which FBN said I could pick up at a local warehouse in middle of March. I called early March phone number of the warehouse and the guy was caught completely by surprise. Called FBN and they said they still had to go through some licensing/paperwork to make it sellable in my state! Took 2 weeks longer until it was available for pickup. They seem to just be winging it sometimes. The attitude and hype around it reminds of the people who join pyramid schemes. Appreciate your videos from a real farmer with a real perspective. Good luck this year!

Thanks for the info. Other YT big time farmers swear by FBN.

I checked into them they didn't want to do much in my area where I'm located they kind of remind me of the nfo for marketing animals way back in the day I don't know if you're familiar with that hope everything is going good only thing I have planted is alfalfa hopefully I can get some corn planted in the next couple days this weather is not nice

I enjoyed watching this video. I love watching more feedback on the FBN, we been dealing locally for years for seed and chemical on our farm. I was debating to give them a shot this year, but been hearing more about the customer support end being more lousy and like in other comments from what I’ve researched seems like FBN wings it for the most part finds the cheapest product and slaps their name on it. Might save 30% on seed but also 30% less bushel compared to tried and true seed brands. And like you said their chemical end have to be careful on. Love the video!

I went to F2F three years ago not really knowing what I was getting myself into. Neither my buddy or myself were members, and they gave us different name tags from everyone that was a member...every time there was a break or you were walking down a hallway, a rep would be on you immediately trying to get you to sign up. It was horrible. That was my first experience, and it left a bad enough taste in my mouth I never have signed up. Buddy did for one year, but never bought anything, and after his membership expired they called for a year and a half or so trying to get him to sign back up. I honestly only know of one guy in our area who uses them, and ironically he was on a social media panel there this past year. Not sure how much he likes the product. They target the "influencers" for easy marketing. I think the harsh reality is this company is pure Silicon Valley. They have had money thrown at them by venture capitalists and don't necessarily NEED to make it back. The growing pains you refer to are because they have access to all this capital that a normal startup company wouldn't...they have done too much too fast and haven't done any of it necessarily well.

I hope you are going to post some planting videos along with your unique spin on how things happen. One of my favorite channels to watch and listen too.

What is your experience with the data analysis part? Things like benchmarking, mappings, seed finder etc.

I previously worked for FBN. I was a Sillicon Valley software engineer. Really feel sorry for your bad experience with FBN. Just wanted to say, as an employee, we were always told that farmers are the 1st. And most of us in the office worked hard to build good features, trying to help farmers. After reading all the comments, I feel worried about FBN Direct team. Probably FBN grows too fast and not good enough to handle the supply chain.

Huh. At least you don't Hate the unnamed farmer that lives an hour south of me. (Main reason I'm still subbed to him but don't watch all his vids) at least he keeps the FBN ads at the end of his vids so you can click off then. When it comes to equipment sponsors he seems more honest with it all than the big YouTube farmers in Montana. He's not the best but he definitely isn't the worst. Completely get where you're coming from! Have a good evening!

The unnamed northern farmer has just become a big commercial it seems like for fbn. His wd40 ads were pretty good but the fbn thing is unwatchable. Plus the podcast is terribly unorganized.
