Hey, never be ashamed to promote FBN, from what I can tell so far, they are a great organization for innovaters. I'm especially interested in their seed corn marketing.

That corral system looks very nice and seems to work very well for 1 man to sort and move animals around. Great video

Will keep fbn in mind for when I will need it - but what comes to mind is the condition of the horses costs - the thicker the cost - the colder and longer winter will be as to cold and length - same can be said of " wooly bear " catapillars

I like the idea of the coop type buying, but we also need our local businesses. Where is the first place one goes to ask for a donation for a good cause or buy your kid's calf at the 4H sale? I see both sides.

FBN is like a Co op for pricing for supplies not dependent on the variety of farming (our family was in the Blue Diamond Co op which was ONLY for sales not supplies).

Nasty storm brewing over in the Pacific Northwest. May be big enough to make it over the mountains. I always keep an eye on the Wyoming weather from S. Carolina.

What is local service worth to you? Do you value your local businesses? Do local businesses promote your business? Don't be surprised when you stop supporting your local business if they stop supporting you.
