Just purchased these jack stands along with a Schwaben low profile jack (2.75" to 24") for working on my lowered e30 and e46. They seem big at first, but in reality they are really stable and allow me to get the car high enough to not be cramped under it. Great investment if you can't accommodate a lift and plus you can break the purchase up.

I have a 6MT. Should the car be in neutral, or e-brake up? Also, is the extended reach jack required or will the same brand (low profile/not-extended reach work). it’s about a $70 diff in price, so curious. Thanks!

Do you have both Arcan and Daytona? If you have both which one do you like better? With the Daytona can you reach front jacking point without 2x4?

Never jack up the rear from one side, always from the differential. You'll bend that metal part 😮
