Tuning my 2021 F150 | 5 STAR TUNING

In todays video we tune my 2021 Ford f150 5.0 using the SCT X4 with 5 Star Tuning. We load the performance 93 tuning and I give honest feedback and reaction.

To anyone wondering, yes tuning a Coyote is worth it. Pick a good, reputable tuner, these engines and transmissions especially really wake up.

I started with 5 star tunes, wasn't happy how It shifted and that I was limited to a certain fuel, switched to Oz Omega flex tune, big difference you won't look back!

I have the Oz Omega X tune on my 2019 Roush and I love it. It’s like a brand new beast. I hope you give Oz Tuning a shot whenever they get their 21+ tunes out and available. Oz is a magician with our 10 spd. Coyotes.

I think the time isn’t improved because it’s spinning the tires more then the factory tune. Maybe try in 4wd or with better tires?

2021 5.0 with the Livernois tune is a nasty beast. Even with 6in lift and 35's, it goes. Shifts will about break your neck, but I like it. Feels like a race truck

With e85, you can throw more timing at the ecu, so I'm not surprised the stock e85 beat the 93 tune... I bet the 5 star e85 tune is nasty... plus e85 has a much higher octane rating than pump 93

Quadzilla tuner on a 98 cummins is just about as complicated to get put on but overall the quadzilla was simple to install

You should of did livernois motorsports they were the first to tune the 21 and up f150 and trust me you can feel the difference and see the difference and you don’t have to worry about what gas you put in on there tune. They have great customer service to.

I take it the dyno sheet you are showing is a baseline in orange 87 octane; the red is 93 tuned; and the yellow is tuned on E-85?

With the more power that you have, you could just be spinning so much maybe try and do it on your stock tires and see if there’s a difference

I'd like to tune mine to get the cylinder deactivation turned off. I'm not even that concerned with performance i just want the pedal and trans to be a little smoother! I'll have to be patient and figure out who the tuning Guru for these trucks is. Maybe Palm Beach, Lund, or AED will figure something special out. Great vid brotha! Thanks for testing for us.
