bob dylan is the best ever singer songwriter EVER. he made people put real words into songs, and he is the best with words. the above was exceptional. dylan reworks his songs and his voice is amazing. what was it you wanted is unbelievable. thx bob. he looked so stately as well. he is a nobel laureate for his amazing writings. he looked the part. i loved it.

Dylan's with his voice in great shape after 18 months off the road he showed on his recent Rough And Rowdy Ways album that those 3 or 4 years where he reinterpreted the more obscure jazz vocal classics from The Great American Songbook identified with Frank Sinatra allowed Dylan to sing in a new gentler more nuanced way than
10-15-20 years ago where he had to shout sing-yell sing-scream- sing over loud gut bucket rock n roll.
Dylan's new musical and singing style grew out of the years where Dylan was recording 5 sides of The Great American Songbook, and his fantastic crack band learn to play intensely but in a much quieter and controlled nuanced way while Dylan's own singing became much quieter and nuanced even as it took its proper spot out in front of the music. So we saw that slow metamorphosis in the live shows and culminating on the rough and rowdy ways album Dylan singing is fantastic on that record and continues here on Shadow Kingdom
