Not Cortez's fault really. They bet everything on getting Ohtani out. That would have been a brilliant call had it been two outs, but it wasn't. Betts and Freeman coming up after Ohtani is a nightmare for any team. It's huge for the Dodgers to protect Game 1 with a win against Cole while also getting a good outing from Jack. If Yamamoto can pitch 5 good innings, that will be massive.
