As a Braves fan, I am so happy for Freddie. He 100% deserves this. He’s such an amazing player and person.

Seeing this in person, cheering with the crowd, and getting to do all of this with my family has been one of the best feelings I’ve ever had. This is one of the best hits ever in baseball.

Yankees fan here, and that was spectacular. Kudos to Freddie and the Dodgers. That’ll be played in World Series highlights 25 years from now. The fans went wild. Gotta appreciate it!

I lost my dad a year ago… Freddie was his favorite player. I couldn’t have imagined a better game 1 ending. I know my dad is smiling. 💙

After all Freeman has gone through with his son Max and the injury, this Homer had so much emotion.

I was sitting outside when this happened. Hearing every house in my city screaming with excitement is something I’ll never forget….crazy.

You can see Freddie’s dad in the front row, right side of the screen as this entire play unfolds. He’s in a black jacket with white trim at the top. He is sitting down and it almost seems like he is so nervous he is unable to watch at first. Freddie cracks the ball and dad lifts his head. The person next to Freddie’s dad gave him a nudge in the side, and dad stood up to celebrate his son’s GS.

Couldn't have happened to a better human being than Freddie Freeman. What a spectacular moment.

I can't believe this happened. This was something straight out of the movies. First ever walk-off grand slam in a World Series game. And it was Freddie Freeman on an injured ankle! People will still be talking about this one 50 years from now. I'm so glad I watched this game live. It doesn't get any better than this.

Everyone overlooked Freeman because he was hurt.
He proved everyone wrong.

That was absolutely a moment to memorialize...I won't ever forget it...has to be a Top 50 sports moment of all time. I'm glad to have witnessed it.

I attended the 1988 WS game and witnessed Gibson's home run from my Field Level season ticket seats on the first base side. Biggest thrill of my life attending any game and that includes watching a Koufax no hitter when I was a boy.
To be fair, this was a hard-fought close game, well played by both teams, and I was on the edge of my seat for 10 innings. This now goes down as my second-best baseball game ever watched. Sorry, I am too old and frail to attend games anymore (nor can I afford the abominable ticket prices) so I saw this on television with all of you. Glad I lived long enough to see it. Go Dodgers!
