These have become my go-to pair of trousers. I usually wear a size 32 in most selvedge jeans but opted for a 33 in those based on the fairly short top block. After a bit of wear, these chinos become so freakingly comfy, mold to your body, and simply fit to anything in my opinion. The finish is excellent and all the details that you mentioned kinda make me happy. They are at first site a very simple, low-key pair of trousers, but they will became a favorite for many, I am sure, because they just feel genuine. It is to the pants counterpart to a Kersey western shirt from Iron Heart. At first, you´d think: naa, not really. In the end, you wear it all the time.

yeah I owned one too, but yours kinda darker color than mine, love the silhouette, texture and the durability, btw how do you cuff yours, the length kinda long, I dont want to cut it, tq

Love samurai and will keep an eye out to see if there is another iteration of the SJ42CP this year. The rough texture and usual samurai detailing really elevate these from your bog standard chinos.

Hey man -again another great review! I was checking the measurements on these and leg opening is 8 inches? The pair here look a bit more tapered and tight around the leg. Would you mind measure that leg opening when you get a chance? Maybe you got them tailored
