How to Support The Bookchemist

[A note about the current Covid-19 crisis:
I filmed this video when Coronavirus was already starting to spread in Europe, and Italy was adopting the first containment measures. The situation has now become much more challenging across the world.
While I genuinely hope this isn't the case, I understand that some of you may find themselves in difficult financial conditions as a result of the crisis, and will not be in a position to help out that kid who reviews books on YouTube, even if they'd normally feel like it.

It goes without saying - but that is absolutely fine. I appreciate your support even if it comes in the form of a kind comment rather than a patreon subscription. Keep those kind comments coming, and let me know what you're reading during quarantine!

Stay safe, everyone!]

Thank you all for your support throughout the years - I love talking books with you people!

Lots of love from India brother, I hope your people recover as quickly as possible. I really can't thank you enough for your efforts, you have really changed my life and have helped me evolve as a reader.
And currently, I have just started 2666, which fortunately got delivered before we had the lockdown here in India.
Thanks again brother. Take care . Stay safe. Peace✌️

Just became a member on your Patreon! (first content creator I'm supporting!) Honestly, the value of your content that I have consumed over the last few years definitely exceeds the small contribution. I hope you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy! All the love, an English grad student you have inspired a lot :)

Keep making great and honest content. I'm totally going to sign up for Patreon but could care less about gimmicky pay-wall content, so keep doing what you're doing to get more people excited about great literature.

Hi! I discovered your channel very recently and have found your videos very stimulating. You have entered my subconscious; last night I dreamt about the two of us discussing post-modernism and post post-moderism. Happy to see you are affiliated with Blackwell's - a store I also recently discovered. I just used your affiliate link to order myself a new copy of Love in the Time of Cholera (possibly my favourite novel) and Mr Palomar, because you reminded me of how great Calvino is.

Much love, take care.

I know your reading schedule is pretty selective and stringent but it would be really cool to see more reading projects like the one you did with Gravity's Rainbow. It makes the reading experience a little less lonely lol.

I appreciate that you are not going to posted contents only for Patreons because, seeing that from other channels, I don't think It's quite fair actually 👍

I've been following your channel for a lot and I'd love to give you money through Patreon, but honestly your page feels a bit lackluster. First, your rewards are all equal one another, regardless of how much I donate. Also, I'd like to have a few other things I'm not seeing on your Patreon, such as:

- access to a private forum (on discord or telegram, for instance) where to connect directly with you and with other Patrons;
- possibility to give you ideas for future videos;
- possibility to vote on future videos (for instance, you give us a few ideas and we vote on what you should shoot first);
- Facetime / Skype / Google Hangout with you (this doesn't interest me personally, but a lot of people offer this);
- possibility to contact you privately (of course, I do not expect you reply shortly, but it'd be cool);
- personally, I'd be hyper curious on having a look at your thesis (but I don't give this too much hope, I have a feeling you want allow this... but consider it could be a high-tier reward);
- other stuff (if you give a look at other Patreons you might get some inspiration).

Aren't you interested in a sponsorship? We'd like to propose one but we can't find an email address...

I can't afford to donate on Patreon, but I used your code to get 2 months free on skillshare. I hope you get something out of it ✨ :( Did you think to become an affiliate with bookdepository as well?

Hey, I was wondering if you have ever read any of Thomas Ligotti’s fiction? Considering you are a huge Lovecraft fan and that ST Joshi called Ligotti the greatest horror writer since Lovecraft I would imagine you have. If you have read Ligotti and decided not to talk about him because you found his work lacking, I would love to hear why.

Best wishes, a weirdo from the interwebs

Thank you for your great films. Your knowledge, your passion, but also your personal characteristics, the way of 'being in literature' act like magnets.  I have found you recently thanks to the site where forum members discussed the best booktubes in the Internet.  Can I have a question - is it possible to support you through the funds accumulated on my google account?  I know that at least one Polish channel cooperating with Patronite has the option.  Or, maybe, there is other simple way, without using PayPal, to support the excellent content of your channel? I would like to thank you by supporting the excellent job you are doing for bookworms like me:) Alicja
