Slowing down to catch our triggers with a lot of loving gentle kindness towards ourselves. Taking a pause to breathe deep, and being open to solutions. ❤️🙏❤️

The problem with this method is that I feel guilty when I'm not angry. When I slow down and manager my anger, a part of me says that I'm being cheated by someone or something else and that I need to stand up for myself or else I will regret it.

In my 20'30's I didn't have the knowledge or tools to handle my emotions now at 57 I'm present, peaceful and don't allow ppl or things around me get me upset. My 📺 shows being interrupted for politics 🙄 now thats another thing 😑

If I pause for 3 seconds before I respond to someone it gives me a chance to be mindful of what I'm saying. I love your hair!

Dr. Conte is honestly so well spoken in his points, and I appreciate the summaries that Monica gives after letting him talk. Really enjoyed this episode, and in good timing, this is something I've been struggling with ever since I entered young adulthood. Even with me being someone who doesn't like to hurt people, I know that I've had my moments still where my emotions have gotten the better of me. Thank you for sharing all these incredible and practical tips! 😊

wow i was actually wondering how to handle anger, lately i’ve been really annoyed by my family, of course i try not to storm to them but that actually leads me to hurt myself, i end up beating of punching myself because i can’t seem to express it or cope it another way

Thank you so much Psych2go. I really need this video, like desperately. I struggle with anger and short temper so... thank you. Thank you so much.

(I would donate to show my appreciation but I am broke. So I give my love and support.❤😊)

Thank you. I never learned these things when I was a kid. My mother had a really bad temper & never did anything about it. She just unleashed on whoever was in range & didn't care. I don't want to be like her, however.

Noticing our triggerings and applying breathwork with mindful awareness, always seems to diminish physiological responses, by defusing the anxieties& stresses.🤗🧘‍♀️

i better come back to this when i am not angry, because this all seems useless. I don't see anger as a thinking process, but an instant feeling that you can't control, that you feel like latching out. I can control myself easy around people. It is when I am alone and tired. I can't control it and break things.

I work in a call center, i deal with a lot of angry people all the time and i am preety much very calm most of the time but at home with my girlfriend i feel like i lash out too much and end up hurting her, by hurting her i feel frustrated that i hurt her and i start lashing out even more, i am trying to really improve on that and not make excuses because theres never a good enough excuse to mistreat your girlfriend thank you for the video
