Everyone talks about the guitars and amazing vocals on a Lorna Shore album, But I rarely hear anyone talk about Austin Archey's elite drumming, He was an absolute masterclass in how to play drums for Deathcore and I think the drums played a HUGE role in Lorna Shore's success .

In my opinion, this is their best song.

The perfect blend of melodic with dark moods; an expansive, open, victorious chorus; vocal and instrumental virtuosity; and of course just ONE badass breakdown that leaves the listener wanting more (which they satisfy by replaying the track).

It's the most complete and balanced track I've heard from them.

Although hidden behind "to the hellfire, " ''Of the Abyss'' is definitely one of the best LS and deathcore song.
The Solemn and mighty melodies, the tremendous breakdowns, the technical performances, and overwhelming screaming, they led me to the deathcore.
I didn't know there are such a wonderful genre, Thank you, Lorna Shore!!

Crazy that it’s been 2 years since this game changing EP dropped. I remember listening to To the hellfire and I just KNEW we were at a special point in time with music. Lorna shore has always put out glorious music. With Tom, CJ, and now Will. Imo this is the GOAT deathcore band.
