LYRICS:
Cursed by this apparition
Destined to take its place
A ceaseless existence born of my dream state
Manifested and pressed into sand
You’ve long been cemented
Distracted, impacted by the weight of the world
If this is everything then
I don‘t want to cut the swathe
Let the flames rise and bury me within this fog,
An echo, a murmur -
A broken melody
I let go of my life but you were just a dream

I’ll throw myself into the fire and burn away
Ridding this flesh of burden and pray I suffocate

I’ll salt the earth in this crimson blaze
This world will burn in my fall from grace
Witness the death of God
Hear the devil‘s choir as I leave the stage
in a sea of fire

If this is all I am then what’s the point
of pacing life
Everything that I made became a waste of time
Expressive, depressive
I‘m caught up in a lie
Decisive, enticive
I’d rather fucking die

I’ll damn this world to a sea of flames
Forsake the ground and let it bury me
You were nothing but a shackle
Now I can breathe
Let this fire rain down and bury me in a sea of flame
Forsake the ground the let it bury me
Let this fire rain down and damn this world

Fuck this existence
Bring me back to where it all began in the fall
Wake me up before i lose it all

This is my epilog - my soliloquy
Take this broken melody straight to the grave

Dancing like flames
After all that I’ve done
I’ll salt the earth and disappear in a sea of fire

I'm sorry for all the non-metalheads out there because they'll never experience this absolute beauty of a trilogy! This has been one of the most emotional things I've ever witnessed. Thank you for this Lorna Shore!

I love how the trilogy ends. The last verse is the name of all three songs together and it fits masterfully. Definitely a work of art.

In my 37 years on this planet, there hasn't been a single piece of music that's stirred up half as much emotion as this trilogy has. I don't know what kind of hell Adam was walking through when he wrote this, but it's the most beautiful thing I've ever heard. Thank you, Lorna Shore, for sharing this pain with us.

I love that in the 3 videos there is a different "element" around the band for each emotion in the series. 1: Rain (tears, loss), 2: Snow (cold, numb), 3: Fire (anger, fury).

Being a man who dealt with this exact situation…. Lost my wife a little more than a year ago… she was only 30. This song hits me so fucking hard. The trilogy, the whole of it all. Thank you, Lorna Shore. Many healing tears and emotional release had been had from your music. I can’t thank you enough.

Thank you Lorna Shore, this has been the most emotional roller coaster ride of my life

I felt that scream at 7:28. Not 'cause it's the gnarliest scream in Will's repertoire, but because it sounds more like a scream an "average" person would and could make.

This song is off the charts. The album is timeless. Cannot believe these people are human. They have found their magic components and this album and Lorna Shore will go down in history for their talent.

It's hard to say, even with my native toungue i'm not really good with words.

Those 3 songs just hurts like hell. That feeling of lump in the throat, those tears getting to my eyes.
that might be the closest things to the feelings i've had when life decided it was good put me on my knees.

The sheer violence of the voice hits right where it hurts the most. It's a fucking masterpiece.

having a song that makes you want to cry while having a nasty breakdown at 5:10 that could make Slaughter to Prevail sound like pop, is a true showcase of pure talent.

I love how perfectly Pain Remains 1, 2 & 3 convey the emotion of losing someone throughout each song.
1- Loss
2- Suffering
3-Anger

So far this has to be the single most powerful piece of music I’ve ever experienced.
Incredible

Can I just say, coming form a household where someone took their life and had to battle with depression and thoughts, this was a tear falling trio of songs I’ll never forget. Album of the year. 😢

God, the emotions… the goosebumps. I don’t think a death core song has ever made me cry before. Lorna Shore has this depressive suicidal black metal energy in these songs. It’s amazing

I've watched and listened to this trilogy countless times. And every time I watch this video, the silent "I love you" fucking breaks me. Pain Remains needs to go down as some of the greatest songs ever written, and these videos are fucking MASTERPIECES to go along with them

Lorna Shore is the only deathcore band that can bring you to tears.
