I felt sorry for Jennifer Grey. She looked really pretty with her natural nose, but her first surgery was botched, leading to her having to undergo a second procedure, which made her unrecognisable.

I had a tummy tuck in 2001 about 5 years after giving birth to twins, and after I had lost weight. It remains one of the best decisions I've ever made. BUT I did my research on doctors (w/o the internet we have today) I had a few consultations first & was allowed to check out all of the facilities ahead of time. I think having patients feel as secure as possible about this major decision plays a big part in how they will heal. 20+ years later, I'm probably 20 lbs more than I should be (not that I care) but my stomach remains as flat as a board!

Thank goodness Sarah Jessica Parker learned from Jennifer Grey and never got her nose drastically altered. She's nowhere near the actress that Grey is (IMO) but at least she still has her face.

Renee Zellweger should be on this list

"Plastic surgery and breast implants are fine for people who want that, if it makes them feel better about who they are. But, it makes these people, actors especially, fantasy figures for a fantasy world. Acting is about being real being honest." Kate Winslet

The crazy thing to me: for as many people that say do it, there were probably many people in their personal life saying don’t. I realize it’s more personal than that, but I firmly believe all of this is based on external projections and statements and “standar” of beauty.

So plz, if you have a loved one telling you don’t when it comes to this subject, consider it.

All i can say is, Why? Why do this to yourself?
Keep your natural looks. I'm in my 30s and people say to me you still look like a teenager.
Here are my healthy tips for you. Don't Smoke, Drugs, Tanning, Drinking. Drink a lot of water/tea. Eat a healthy diet. Exercise.

2:49 -- Such a beautiful woman on the left. It just goes to show you that even beautiful people do not see the same thing in the mirror. It's so sad when they think they're not beautiful or even worse they're told by someone in the industry that they're "not pretty enough" or "just average" or "they need a touch up". People should get fired for making comments like that. Beauty comes in many, many shapes, sizes, and appearances. It's heartbreaking that people feel they need to change their looks for their work. I really missed Jennifer Grey when she disappeared for so long due to the nose job. I understand her choice but she made me (a plain girl) feel like I too could find someone like she did in her movies. I felt the same way about the characters Molly Ringwald played. Both Jennifer and Molly are gorgeous women but Hollywood tried to characterize them as "plain" and when I was younger I did too but now I realize just how pretty they were and truly are even today.

I was 26 years old and after losing almost 50lbs, I wanted to remove my excessive skin especially from my upper arms and stomach but luckily the surgeon I consulted with kindly talked me out of it. She highly recommended me not to get the surgery done because I was still young especially when I haven’t had any kids yet because if I do ever get pregnant, the excessive skin is most likely to develop again only and it’ll be a waste of money. I really thought about it and chose not to continue with it and chose to just workout to slim down and tighten my skin. Plus after seeing two people I know with tummy tuck and their result, I completely changed my mind. One of them have had their tummy tuck for over two years already but she was still left with so many noticeable scars on her lower abdomen from the surgery! She don’t wear her bikini because of it, what a waste she can’t even show off her body

You forgot Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones! The man has had his skin stretched so much he now looks like Skeletor!

One person I feel shouldn't have gotten work done is Hayden Panettiere. She's such a beautiful woman, but when I saw her in Scream 6 I barely recognized her!

I like Meg Ryan's genuine looks compared to her after plastic surgery.

I have a small hernia from being pregnant. Since fixing it is technically part of getting a tummy tuck, I’ve been juggling the idea of getting one. I also seem to have excess skin. However I’ve made myself one promise, I need to shrink from my current size 16 to a size 10. As of right now it’s just a lot of exercise. I’ve made a lot of excuses to walk. If the hernia is still there after the loss I’ll get it fixed along with the skin removal. My husband is also very against me getting plastic surgery but if I need the hernia fixed, I’m already asleep might as well do the extra.
