Homelite 775D Chainsaw Overhaul/Repairs & Running

In this video I did a full overhaul on the 775D. I still need to tackle the mag rot on the tank but the saw is at least running. For being as nasty as it was the piston cleaned up very well. The Tillotson carb also cleaned up easy and all I had to do to the ignition was clean the points, replace the condensor and repair the ground wire. I'll have to replace the pull cord and air filter here soon! An interesting thing with the 1950's and 1960's Homelite saws is that several models used a sealing gasket and oillite bushing on the clutch side instead of a standard oil seal like you would expect,
