Here in Finland we use reflecting items to make us seen during the dark winters, nowadays you can even buy some reflecter yarn or even fabric patches to put to your clothes etc. There's even reflecting mittens, hats and bags. It can look a bit meh, but when the light hits, the item will be really bright, not in the colorful way like in the video, but like in a bright light in the dark sense.

underwater lamp is easy - get a vinyl/plastic shower curtain with an underwater theme and put it in front of the light. I used them as a curtain and when the sun hit the whole place looked like it was under water and it was amazing.
