She's so amazing and I swear she doesn't age. I only found out about her in the past year but it's been one heck of a year. Some of her movies and just her jokes got me through a tough year. Now I'm a lot more confident about myself than I used to be. Though she'll never see this, thank you Helena 🖤

I am in love with Helena! She's one of the few actresses I feel I can identify with. In fact, she was the only reason I was able to finally accept my curly hair.

I haven't seen most of HBC's older movies, but I want to (especially *_A Room with a View_* and *_Howards End_*)! Also, she's a great talent and this video does her justice; well done, Amy! ^-^

I realise that this is completely different to the usual types of videos I do (apart from the subject matter) but I'd been planning this for a while and felt the need to create it. And by a while, I mean last year; it was originally intended to mark HBC's fiftieth birthday. However, the release of Ocean's Eight next year will roughly mark the thirty-five anniversary of the release of A Pattern of Roses, in which HBC was introduced. She is a queen of the arts, and long may she reign!

I love her! So many great roles. I was thinking of her this weekend at Wondercon. I got a pic of a woman dressed as Bellatrix Lastrange.

My favourites are:
*Frankenstein* She works great as the beautiful damsel, but she looks awesome as the creature's bride.
*Fist Club* You gotta love sarcastic, 'I don't give a fuck' Helena.
*Live From Baghdad* This is an unusual genre for her, but she and Michael Keaton work well together.
*Big Fish* I can't stand that blonde hair. She looks fantastic as the witch.
*Charlie and the Chocolate Factory* This film proves she could have played Molly Weasley as well.
*Harry Potter V - VIII* She is bloody amazing as Bellatrix Lestrange. She exceeded my expectations and made that character even better. I cannot believe that such a nice woman can play evil/insane that convincingly.
*Sweeney Todd* Even though she's not the best singer, she's a great Mrs Lovett. Her hair&makeup, her voice and her mannerisms worked very well.
*Enid* She showcases a great range of emotions here.
*Alice in Wonderland/Alice Through the Looking Glass* She's fantastic as the Red Queen. I love her horrendous makeup, over the top hair, accent and mannerisms.
*King's Speech* I didn't expect her to make such a great Queen Elizabeth II.
*Dark Shadows* I love her character, Dr Julia Hoffman. The hair is cool too.
*Les Miserables* I wish she had more screentime, but she thoroughly entertains during the time she has.
*Burton & Taylor* Again, I couldn't really envision her as Elizabeth Taylor, but she's so good here.
*Cinderella* I expected her to be Lady Tremaine and Cate Blanchett to be the Fairy Godmother. But both did a great job with their respective roles.
*Ocean's Eight* A film starring Helena Bonham Carter, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway and Rihanna? I'm onboard.
