3 Ways you can save 💵 on taxes before the end of the year

Before we get into it, HOW PRETTY IS THIS SCENERY??

This was filmed on Cathedral Lake Trail, just outside of Aspen, Colorado - which is clearly the BEST place in the world to see fall colors.

Now for the tax goodness:

1. HSAs are basically a “secret” retirement account: $ you put in isn’t taxed, you can use it to pay for medical expenses (tons of stuff on Amazon qualifies too) tax-free, and - get this - you can actually INVEST the money you contribute to your HSA.

2. If you REALLY don’t like paying taxes, maybe consider getting into the real estate game. I don’t have enough characters to fully explain this, but depreciation on STRs can greatly reduce, or even in some cases eliminate, your taxable income for the year.

3. Tax-Loss Harvesting allows you to benefit from your investments losing value. It’s important to note that you can only claim up to $3, 000 in net capital losses for the year, so it may not make much sense to sell more than that.
