Putting the helmet neck strap on with gloves is diabolical

As an owner of 2014 R25 with over 140.000km on record.
Evidently the rear mono shock and swing arm approach is also untouched. So yeah, probably still using the same engine from a decade ago.

Well, I've been waiting for this bike since the rumors. From the moment I bought my 24 R1, I knew I wanted a new R9 to go with it. Super excited... still can't pick a door though. Wish ALL red was an option. My R1 is team blue so don't want blue. I'll decide here pretty soon. Thanks Yamaha! I plan to enjoy this new bike. 😉

Wish they made a mini tenere with the same engine. Royal Enfield and ktm are dominating this platform. It would be awesome if they came up with an adv bike with this engine without any fancy electronics that is❤

Yamaha brining it! Same features and less money than the Ninja 500 abs. Yamaha winning on looks too!!!!

Been waiting for this re-design so glad it's finally out. now I need to wait for the new lowering kits. Only wish the exhaust was also changed to the compact style like the R7.

It's going to be hard to sell this knowing that Ninja 500, Aprilla RS457 and 450SR came out. Don't forget KTM RC390 got updated as well.

This look would've been epic if the bike had another 100cc

I’m gonna cry. There’s no difference between an ugly gsxr and Yamaha now. Why would you put a single headlight, it looks like a decepticon.

All the new R bikes have the same front end design language now which is mostly fine.. back when the 2015 R1 got released they made a brilliant thing with that center air intake in the middle and the georgeous LED stripes next to it.... then later with the R7 that clean design got obstructed with that center headlamp inside of that space, kind of ruins the look and its been adopted on the entire YZF Line-up (125 through R9, R6 and R1 are no more anyways)... a shame really, other than that: fantastic bikes, looks and performance wise.
